Regular matboard with a cream core is the standard paper board of the industry. It is buffered to have a pH neutral (acid-free) core and backing paper.

Manufactured by Crescent or Nielsen Bainbridge, it comes in the widest selection of colors. Suitable for many applications where conservation matting is not necessary.
